It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfred Collier announce his passing at the A. M. Guy Health Centre, Buchans, NL on Thursday May 2, 2013 at the age of 93. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Margaret (Dominic Drew), Stephenville, NL, Alfred (Effie), Kevin (Eleanor), Elizabeth (Joseph Willcott), Mildred (William Blake, Philomena (George Willcott), all of St. Alban’s, NLO, Michael, Labrador City, NL, Anne Marie (John MacIsaac), Hubley, NS, Christine (Paul Walsh), Brampton, ON & Murray (Kathy), Paradise, NL; 21 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother: Finton (Elizabeth), St. Veronica’s, NL; brother in law: Albert MacDonald, St. Joseph’s Cove, NL as well as a large circle of other nephews, nieces relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife: Marie; son: Adonis; brother: Benedict; sisters: Olive, Lenora, Theresa & Mary. The funeral service was held on Monday May 6, 2013 at 11 am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church, St. Alban’s with Father Edward Brophy officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
