SULLIVAN, ROLAND - 1928 - 2013 - Shediac River, NB - Roland Sullivan, 85, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, Moncton, NB, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, May 7th, 2013. Born in Toronto, Ont. on, April 14th, 1928, he was the son of the late Charles and the late Eleanor Sullivan (nee Maguire). Besides his wife, Mary Sullivan (nee McDonald) of Shediac River, NB, Roland is survived by his two daughters, Peggy Sullivan (Paul Murphy) of Laval, QC, Maureen Falkenstein (Michael) of Oakville, ON; his son, Michael of Toronto, ON; his three grandchildren, Kimberlee, James and Callum; also by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Charles, Raymond and Austin
As per Roland’s wishes there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at the Passage Chapel in Shediac Bridge on Tuesday, May 14th, 2013 at 11h00. A special thank you to Dr. Alqdah, Nurse Bonnie and all of the other staff in the Coronary Care Unit for the excellent care that Roland received while he was in the hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital, the Lung Association or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
