Passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Home, St. John's, on May 7, 2013, Pheobe Day of Port Rexton, aged 94 years. Predeceased by her parents James and Sarah (Goldsworthy) Day and her siblings Les, Lily, Clara & Amy. Leaving to mourn her passing are special nephew Don (Lourda) Randell, special nieces Phoebe (Mac) Miller and Doreen (Walter) Zarowny, cousin Frances Morris, St. Luke's, lifelong friend Jessie Penney St. John's, and other family and friends. Funeral service took place at Christ Church, Port Rexton on Saturday, May 11, 2013 with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Port Rexton. Donations may be made in Pheobe's memory to Christ Church, St. Luke's Home or a charity of one's choice.
