Bungay
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all on May 7, 2013 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay, Benjamin Bungay age 82 years of Newtown, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by his parents; James and Louisa Bungay, son; Lindburgh, sister; Lorraine and brother-in-law; Walter Hall. Leaving to mourn with loving memories are his wife; Daisy,(Green), sons; Keith (Kay) , Kirk (Nola), Clyde (Cindy) all of Newtown, daughter; Alva (Glenn Norris) of Templeman, brother; Ronald (Mona) of St. John’s, brothers-in-law; Robert Green (Mary) of Paradise, Edward Pye of Newtown, Les Skiffington of Musgravetown, sisters-in-law; Rose (Howard Vincent) of Newtown, Doris (Harvey Simms) of Springdale, Sadie Tucker of St. John’s, Gertie Gill of Newtown, grandchildren; Wade, Troy, Kristopher, Tanya, Courtney, Danielle, and Lori, great grandchildren; Kendra, Benjamin, Grace, Sophia, Riley and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held on May 10 at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Newtown with Rev. Roy Martin officiating. Interment followed at St. Luke’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Newtown.
