HUMPHREY, EDNA - Edna Humphrey, 105, of Moncton, resident of Spencers Memorial Home, was called from her earthly dwelling to her Heavenly Home to be with her Saviour and Lord on May 11, 2013. Born in Elgin on August 25, 1907, she was the daughter of the late John and Nettie (Bishop) Crandall. Edna retired from the CN after many years of service and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by her son Dalton (Theresa) Humphrey, daughter Donelda MacKlem (Norm deceased 2010), grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two infant sons, Dana and Jackie, sisters Etta Young and Frances Crandall and brother Bart Crandall.
A private family committal service was held at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with Pastor L. Buckingham officiating. Interment was at the New Canaan Cemetery.
