MUISE-HARRINGTON, Mary Kathleen “Kay” – 75, Yarmouth, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 21, 1937 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Silas and Margaret Elizabeth (Clements) Muise. Kay was a homemaker, and in her last few years, she enjoyed watching television and listening to the radio. She is survived by children, John, Barrington; Levi, Waterville; Mike (Lillian), Shelburne; Peter (Florence), Yarmouth; Paul; Mary (Donald) Muise, Alma Muise, Ann (Felix) Muise-Dugas, all of Yarmouth; Margie; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, as well as by brothers and sisters, Rita (Floyd) Saulnier, George, Robert “Bobbie” (Ann), Fred (Janice), all of Yarmouth; Gordie (Linda), Wedgeport; David (Shirley), Hamilton, ON; Margaret Muise, Yarmouth; a sister-in-law, Violet Muise, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Thomas Muise, as well as by daughters, Ann, in infancy and Theresa Muise; sisters, Rose-Marie and Mary, both in infancy; a brother, Herbie. Visitation took place from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday with prayers at 3 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth, where the funeral was held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 17 Father John MacPherson officaited. Interment followed in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. It was requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
