This past year without you...
Zack & I completed a lot of "firsts"
You were "first" in our hearts as we did them.
I find myself talking to you everyday,
Wondering what in the world you'd say.
Your voice is something we no longer hear,
We keep praying that you were near.
Our hearts feel empty and cold inside,
Pretending our tears really have dried.
Zack helps me and I help him,
That makes me proud, I feel you grin.
We move on without you...doesn't it feel right,
Why we're alone all these nights?
The one thing I know Pat, I proudly can say
Is we all will be together, one glorious day!!
