It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Doug Cawthra of Roberts Creek, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
He died peacefully surrounded by his family in the house that he built.
Left to remember him are his wife of nearly 59 years, Gladys, son Mike, daughter-in-law Shelly, daughter Colleen, son-in-law Brian, and grandchildren Shannon, Brianna and Brynn.
The family would like to thank everyone connected with Doug's care and especially the nurses and care aides who came to the house.
There will be no service at Doug's request. An open house and tea will be held on Saturday, June 1 from 1pm-4pm at the Cawthra home, 1134 Flume Road, Roberts Creek, B.C.
