At the Prince Edward Home on Saturday, July 19, 2008, of Mrs. Reta F. Feehan (nee Affleck), formerly of Mount Stewart, aged 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Pius Feehan and dear mother of Ruth (John) Gunn, Carl (Elaine) Feehan, Muriel (Roger) Coffin, Joyce Douglas, Ann MacLeod, Theresa (David) Clarkin, Elsie (John) Sharkie, Ivan (Barb) Feehan, Eric Feehan, Kevin Feehan and Lauralee (Brook) Price. Mrs. Feehan will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her sister Florence (Sterling) Pigott, sister-in-law Sally Affleck, son-in-law Dewy Dunn, nieces, nephews and friends at the Prince Edward Home. Besides her husband, Pius, she was predeceased by her son Kenny; daughters Edna Dunn, Kathy Feehan; brother Adrien Affleck and son-in-law Ron MacLeod. Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:15 Tuesday morning then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. with interment to follow in the family plot at St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery. If so desired memorials in Reta’s memory can be made to the Pat and the Elephant program or St. Andrew’s Parish Cemetery Fund.
