LANDRY, JOAN - It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Joan Landry, age 59, of Westcock. Joan passed away at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Born in Sackville, she was a daughter of Madeline (Phinney) Ward and the late Harold Ward. Joan loved playing cards and bingo. She enjoyed time at the cottage with family. She always liked going to work and spending time with co-workers and those she served. In addition to her mother Madeline (Phinney) Ward, Westcock, she will be dearly missed by her children Philip, Toronto and Jeffery, at home; brothers; Neil (Karen), Westcock, Roger (Pat), Mount View, Michael (Beth Steeves), Westcock. She was predeceased by her father, and sister Susan.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville, NB (506-364-1300) where visiting hours will take place on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Jones Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 2 pm, Pastor Andrew Swanson officiating. Burial in the Westcock Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in Joan's memory may do so to the Westcock Cemetery or the charity of your choice.
