It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Brooks announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, on Wednesday, May 15th, 2013, at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Howard, of 58 years, 4 children: Gail (Dennis) of Keswick, Ontario, Ron (Mona) of Pasadena, Jack (Ina) of Brampton, Ontario and Alfred (Cathy) of St. Catherine’s, Ontario, 9 grandchildren: Sonia (Tyrone), Denise (Brian), Jason (Jamie), Cory (Kelly), Greg (Jessie), Leonard (Trina), Christopher (Anna), Jeff and Ashley, 17 great-grandchildren, sisters: May (Carl) of Port Colbourne and Pearl of Corner Brook, NL, her brothers: Don (Evelyn) of Glovertown and Bert of Deer Lake. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from The Salvation Army Church in Pasadena today Thursday, May 16th, 2013, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and continuing Friday, May 17th, 2013, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 18th, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. with Capt. Darlene Bert officiating; burial to follow at the Humber Valley Cemetery, Pasadena, NL.
