Passed away at the age of 95 years, with her family by her side at Masonic Park Nursing Home, Mary Gosse, aged 95 years. Mom was a generous, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother but also a friend to many. She loved telling stories, passing on words of wisdom and gatherings with family and friends. Mary is predeceased by husband Charles (2007), infant son, and Andrew Parsons (2003). Left to mourn is her sons and daughters: Effie, Ern (Deering), Richard, Caroline, Charlie, Shirley, Howard, Maud, Loretta, Victor (Tucker), Joan Parsons, Pearl, Ross (Dunphy), Reg, Joyce, Elmer, Margaret, Gail, Glenn (Osmond), Greg and Roslyn; also many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A Special thank you to all the wonderful, dedicated and exceptional staff of Admirals Coast Retirement Centre and Masonic Park Nursing Home. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with Leslie Beddoe and Lucy Warren officiating. Interment will follow at the Non-Denominational Cemetery, Paradise. No flowers by request. Donations in Mary’s name may be made to Masonic Park Nursing Home.
