Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Dawson) Newsome. Loving father of Katherine Ellis, Dianne (Rick) Ellis, Donna (Ronald) MacKinnon, Carol (Jimmy) MacDonald and Morley Newsome. Dear grandfather of Andrew (Bethany) Ellis, Jennifer (Korey) Benoit, Christopher and Jason Ellis, Kirk (Mallory Francis) MacKinnon, Amanda (Jordan Visser) MacKinnon, Colin (Kristy) McCardle, Krista (Brad) Parson, Lincoln McCardle and four great-grandchildren Mya, Maci, Cameron and Brody. Also survived by special family members, Donald and Roger (Donna) Lord. Predeceased by his parents, George and Amanda Newsome, and brother, John Newsome.
Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visiting hours Tuesday, May 22, 2013, 6-9 p.m. Funeral service from the South Shore United Church, Tryon, Wednesday, at 2 p.m.
