Fowlie, Robert William, 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, following a lengthy stay at The Mira nursing home in Truro, NS. He was born in Truro, the son of the late Charles and Mabel (Isnor) Fowlie. Bob was a retired employee of the Post Office in Truro. He was a little league baseball coach and he enjoyed all sports. He was an avid curler prior to his failing health. He is survived by his son, Brian Fowlie and wife Tara and their children Logan and Jackson, all of Calgary; brothers Howard of Santa Ana, California and Kenneth of Cardinal, Ontario. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
