We, the children of the late Annie McEachern would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to our family, friends, and neighbors. To all who provided food, sent flowers, cards, emails, online condolences, phone calls made charitable donations in mom’s memory, and to the many friends who attended her wake and funeral mass we thank you. We wish to express gratitude to father Ray Huntley and Deacon Penny for their kind and comforting words, and St. Leonard’s Choir and organist for your beautiful hymn selections. We would like to express thanks to all mom’s grandchildren for taking part in her funeral mass, they were her pallbearers, honor guard, readers and those who brought up the offertory. Nannie would have been so proud of you all. Thank you doctors and staff of the palliative care unit, especially Michelle Murphy; your wonderful care and compassion will never be forgotten. We are grateful to the V.O.N. especially Karen Wilson, Kelly Farrell and Sherrie Mc Phee, for your daily visits, which mom so looked forward to. Your care and compassion went above and beyond. Thanks to Carol Martell and Doreen Sponagle for your kindness. We also would like to acknowledge the C.W.L. ladies for the lovely lunch and reception. We would like to thank the staff of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, especially Basil Jr. and Basil Sr. for your compassion, guidance and help during this trying time. Above all we would like to thank our mother for all the life’s lessons taught to us over the years. Also for her dignity and never ending humor she had shown throughout her illness.
