Passed peacefully away on Monday, May 20th, 2013, Helen Beatrice Maynard, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Wallace Maynard; children: Heber (Sadie) Maynard, Linda (Terry) Payne, Joyce (Chris) Welsh, Juanita (Tom) Morrissey, Gerald (Delsey) Maynard, Cecil Maynard (Molly) & Alicia Maynard; 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Harriet, Maude (Hounsell), Eulah, Marjorie (Jim) & Gerine (David); sisters-in-law: Shirley, Dorothy, Goldie (Harold) & Margaret; brother-in-law Stanley (Hazel). Mother was predeceased by her parents Solomon & Caroline Hiscock; brothers: Alex (Phylis), Harold (Marion) & Clifford; grand son-in-law Dean Benoit; brothers-in-law: Victor, Chesley, Garfield (Cecilia), Andrew (Harriett) & Ambrose (Frances); sisters-in-law: Maude (Sam) & Myrtle (Lambert). Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from St. Luke's United Church in Norris Pt, NL, Thursday May 23rd, 2013, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Friday at 2 pm with Rev: Larry Noseworthy officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery in Norris Pt, NL.
