1917 – 2013
It is with deep sadness that we must announce the peaceful passing of Helen Louise Fitzpatrick, age 95, of Bayfield, N.B. Helen passed away at the Westford Nursing Home on Monday, May 20, 2013.
Born in Wolfville, N.S., she was a daughter of the late Walter and Jessie (Chestnut) Farris.
Helen enjoyed going for walks, knitting and quilting, but most of all spending time with her family.
She is lovingly remembered by daughters Linda Allen of Murray Corner, and Joyce (David) Trenholm of Cape Tormentine; sons, Thorald (Stella) of Bayfield, and William (Lene) of Toronto; a half-brother Russell Farris of Kentville, N.S.; five Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Graydon in 1994; brothers, Harold, Robert and Carl, and a sister, Isabel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jones Family at Jones Funeral Home. Funeral service for Helen will be held at the Bayfield United Church, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at 11 a.m., William Drysdale, DLM officiating. Burial will follow in the Bayfield Cemetery.
