James Angus McKillop, 54, of Cole Harbour, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of Jeanne and Kenneth McKillop. Jim was a talented carpenter and enjoyed golfing in his leisure.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Bradshaw, who he had been separated from but to whom he was still closely connected; daughters, Angelia and Amanda. His adoration for his daughters and struggle to express his affection is unmatched by any other father. His spirit will live on in the memories cherished by his family, all of whom loved him so dearly. Jim is also survived by his sisters, Harla (Jim) O'Neill, Jamey Gagne, Kathy MacLeod and Peggy Goulden; brother, Gordon McKillop; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother-in-law, Richard Goulden.
There will be a visitation held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., with prayers and remembrances at 8 p.m. Saturday May 25 at Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth.
