LeBLANC, JUSTINE - 1910 - 2013 - Justine LeBlanc, 102, passed away on Friday, May 17th, 2013 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. Born on August 9th, 1910 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Aimé and Marie-Louise (Gallant) LeBlanc. Justine was well-known in her youth for being a gifted singer. She was an avid Blue Jays and Maple Leafs fan, and loved a good box of chocolates and fresh lobster. The last surviving member of her immediate family, she is survived by a daughter, Claudette Ross of Barrie, ON; one grand-son, David Ross (Heather) of Barrie, ON; one grand-daughter, Marie-Louise Ross of Orilla, ON; two great-grandchildren: Amanda Cialiao (Robert) and Christopher, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Justine was predeceased by her brothers: Ernest, Aurel, Paul, Léon, Gérard, Joseph and Henri. Her family would like to thank the staff at the Villa Providence, Section D, for the kindness and compassion they provided to Justine for well over 35 years. Her longevity was a testament to their wonderful care. Special thanks also to her niece, Brenda Lee for always being there for Justine.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Center, 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. visiting hours Tuesday from 9:30 am until time of service. Interment will be in St-Joseph cemetery, Shediac.
