GORBER, AMOS Z. - Amos Z. Gorber, 99, of Moncton, with his loving daughter at his side, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital on Friday morning, June 7, 2013. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Louis and Jennie (Levy) Gorber. Amos was the former Assistant Manager at Canadian Tire, Moncton and retired Purchasing Manager of Materials at Hub Meat Packers, with 28 years service. He attended Tiferes Israel Synagogue. Amos will be sadly missed by his loving daughter, Judith and son-in-law, Jim Cormier of Riverview; precious grandchildren, Kevin Cormier (Zara), Kristine Thorne (Ryan) and Hannah; cherished great grandchildren, Oscar, Elodie and George; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Hazel Rose (Krasnick) Gorber (1985); brothers, Wilfred, Harry and Leonard.
