DOLE, MARTHA TRAVIS - Martha Travis Dole, 87, of Millbrook, passed away at the Jordan Lifecare Centre on June 8, 2013. Born in Wrentham, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Travis) Baker. Martha worked as a teacher in Nova Scotia and then in advertising for the Montreal Star. She is survived by her sister, Joan Urquhart of Yarmouth, NS; her brothers: Gordon Baker of Springhill, NS, Joseph Baker of Yarmouth, NS, and Charles Baker (Eleanor) of Kamloops, BC; as well as by many extended family members and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Sussex Select Funeral Home, 21 Aiton Road, Sussex, from where visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2013 from 1 to 2 pm, and a Celebration of Martha’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm with Jeanette Cosman presiding.
