RUSSELL, LAWRENCE - Lawrence Wallace Russell, 71, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of Salisbury, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2013. Born in Upper Coverdale he was the son of the late Lewis and Hazel (Ayles) Russell. Lawrence was a heavy equipment operator and he loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and watching the Toronto Blue Jays. He is survived by sisters Nora Cooper of Toronto, ON and Linda Russell of Goodwood, ON; brother Allen (Anne) of Fredericton; uncles Lloyd, Stanley and Les Russell of Salisbury; good family friend Dorothy Morrisey of Salisbury and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be held at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) Wednesday, June 12 at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow. Interment at Five Points Cemetery. Donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. www.keirsteads.ca
