68, of Halifax, passed away June 10, 2013, at his home on Cowie Hill.
Born in Chatham, NB, he was the son of the late Phyllis O'Shaughnessy (Rogers) and the late George Tsistinas. Harold grew up in Chatham and moved to Halifax in the early 1970s. He is survived by daughters, Karen and Amanda; sons, Tommy (Nancy) and Mark (Rachel); sisters, Mary Blaisdell (Bill) and Patsy Harless (Lester); brothers, Mike O'Shaughnessy (Nancy) and Tom O'Shaughnessy (Carrington); eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Harold will be greatly missed by his family, friends and colleagues. He was seen as a great contributor to the East Coast music scene and was respected for his knowledge and expertise in the many projects he worked on.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 15, from 3-8 p.m. at Cruikshank's Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the IWK Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
