Passed away peacefully at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Monday, June 17, 2013, Richard Patrick Coombs, age 55 years of Freshwater, Placentia, Predeceased by his brother Gerard, sister Rosemary, grandparents Peter and Martha Dunphy, Richard and Annie Coombs, uncles Willie, Peter, and Andrew Dunphy, and Kenneth Coombs, aunts Mary, Margaret and Mona Coombs and Rita Kean, cousin James Coombs and members of the Martin Family. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his parents Thomas and Theresa; his uncle Gerald Dunphy with whom he resided; his brothers and sisters: Francis (Jeanette), Patsy Ennis (Larry), Peter (Sarah), Ken (Jocelyn), Tommy, Derek and Ann Marie Barry (Tom); his precious nieces and nephews whom he truly adored, Andrew and Jennifer Coombs, Patrick Ennis, Thomas Coombs (and his mother Karen Mulrooney), Shannon and Laura Rose Barry, aunt Stella Dunphy, his cousins Mary Ann Vogel, Carmella Rivers, Helen Premdas, Geraldine Yeager and Doreen Sumbles, and their families, also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home, Placentia on Wed & Thurs. from 2-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place at Holy Rosary Church, Freshwater on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 11:00 with Interment to take place in Roman Catholic Cemetery, Freshwater.
