Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Monday, June 17, 2013, Mr. Reginald James Fudge, age 81 years of McCallum. Leaving to mourn his loving family: sons, Leo and wife, Pat, and Eric and wife, Colleen, all at Port Aux Basques, Herman, Rodger and wife, Elizabeth, at McCallum; daughter, Angela and husband, Darryl Gosse at Calgary, AB and son, Timothy, at McCallum; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; brothers, Howard (Maisie), Matthew (Sarah), Earl (Fanny) and Lloyd (Myrtle) all at McCallum; sisters, Linda (Lloyd Durnford) at McCallum, and Dinah Rivard at Halifax, NS; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Annie Gladys Fudge, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Funeral service was held on Thursday, June 20, at 11:00 am from St. Peter’s Anglican Church in McCallum with Rev. Colbourne officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery at McCallum.
