Shirley E. McGraw, 86 years of age, of Joggins, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the ColChester Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Joggins she was a daughter of the late Bliss and Viola (Babineau) Terrio.
She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church and the C.W.L.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Wendy Smith of Amherst, Dale (Brenda) of Amherst; Jill Gilroy ( Peter) of Maccan, Lee of Joggins; brother, Jackie Terrio (Marilyn) of Mississauga, ON; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grand children; one great great granddaughter.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Abel; sisters, Joan Prince , Betty LeBlanc, brother, Sonny.
Her remains have been entrusted to the Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, River Hebert, where the family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 26 at 2 p.m. Burial to take place in the St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Cemetery.
