Dorothy M. Morrison, 76 years, of Amherst, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Nappan. Born in Little Bass River, she was a daughter of the late Ulysses and Mabel (Pugsley) Morrison.
Dorothy enjoyed doing handy work, embroidering, knitting, her home and family.
She is survived only by nieces, Gloria (Art) Sauveur, Brenda (Ron) Moore, Peggy (Doug) Johnson, Teena (Peter) Bowser; nephews, Dan Sauveur, Thomas Gloade and Jack Morrison.
She was predeceased by brothers, Cecil, Earl and Thomas; sisters, Eva, Florence and Elizabeth.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Furlong Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Amherst, (902 667 8777). Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 followed immediately at 2:00 pm by the Funeral Service with The Reverend Susan Estrabrooks officiating. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Springhill.
