DUTCHER, PETER A. - 1939 - 2013 - Bay du Vin - Uncle Peter Albert Dutcher, of the Bay du Vin River Road, Bay du Vin, passed away at his residence early Wednesday morning, following a lengthy illness, at the age of 74. Born in Bay du Vin, on February 22, 1939, he was the son of the late W. Minor and Dorothy (Fraser) Dutcher. He was a commercial painter and roofer as well as an avid outdoorsman and hunter, fisherman and farmer. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin. He is survived by one sister, Isabel Sweezey, of Miramichi; one uncle, Donald Fraser (Carmel), of Miramichi; as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters, Violet Kingston, Flora King and Lavina Gulliver; one brother, John Dutcher.
Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., Miramichi, on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Bay du Vin, on Friday, June 28, 2013, at 4pm, conducted by Rev. Robert Barry. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
