MacDONALD, EDWARD F. - 1938-2013 - Miramichi - Mr. Edward F. MacDonald, husband of Eileen MacDonald, of Air Force Crescent, Miramichi, passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital, in Bathurst, on Friday, June 28, 2013, at the age of 75. Born in Chatham on June 4, 1938, he was the son of the late Vincent and Carolyn (Gordon) MacDonald. He was a drywall taper by profession and a was a member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Eileen A. Cook; two daughters, Kathy MacDonald, of Oshawa, ON and Darlene MacDonald, of Ottawa, ON; three sons, Keith MacDonald (Janet), of Oshawa, ON, Ken MacDonald, of Abbotsford, BC and Tim MacDonald (Cathy), of Miramichi; one sister, Annalee (Lee) Drader, of Kingston, ON; one brother, Al MacDonald, of Timmons, ON; eight grandchildren, Lindsay, Alex, Heather, Andrew, David, Jade, Erika and Morgan. He was predeceased by two brothers, Freeman and Paul MacDonald.
Visiting will be at Adams Funeral Home Ltd., 140 King St., on Monday, July 1, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Adams Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at 11:00 am, and will be conducted by Father John Fraser. Interment will be at a later time. Please note vigil prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:50 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
