RUBY DAVEY (STEELE)
Ruby passed away peacefully at Moose Jaw Union Hospital July 2, 2013. She was born in Parkbeg, SK. Ruby is predeceased by her parents; her husband Harold; infant son; son-in-law Byron; six brothers and three sisters. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Georgina; grandchildren Rick and Tannis; great-grandsons Styles, Jesse and Dallas; several nieces and nephews. As a teen and years later she played piano for various dances and bands in the Moose Jaw area. She also played piano for the Peggy Peat Dance School and was the pianist for the Royal Purple for many years. She was a life member of the O.O.R.P.#9 as well as a life member of the U.T.U. in Moose Jaw. She loved bingo, bowling and travelling and had a strong sense of self-wellness. Ruby’s family would like to express thanks to all her compassionate caregivers at Oxford Place, Extendicare, the Moose Jaw Union Hospital and to Pastor Marvin Seaborg, as well as the staff at W. J. Jones Funeral Home. A private family Graveside Service will be held.
