OSBORNE, GLADYS - Gladys Osborne (nee Sanger) quietly slipped away on the afternoon of July 2nd in Victoria. One of 14 children, she was born in Grand Falls, NL on February 12, 1923. In 1942, she married Douglas Osborne and for many years they lived in Saint John, NB; in 1983, they retired first to Duncan and then to Victoria, BC. She was predeceased by Doug in 1998. A petite woman with a lovely smile, she loved the latest fashions, good food and wine, mystery novels, card games, and family get-togethers. Gladys is survived by her daughter Cheryl, her son Paul, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her sisters Lil, Nettie and Marge, her brothers Bill, Roy, Fred and Norm, many nieces and nephews.
