It is with saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Jack Murphy at Parkstone Enhanced Care, Halifax, NS after a lengthy illness. Formerly of Dunville, NL. Predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Mary Murphy and sister Janet. Left with fond and loving memories: devoted wife of 48 years, Anita; adoring daughter Joanne Murphy and husband Len Grantham and cherished granddaughter Grace; sisters: Donna (Gerald) Pumphrey, Lucina (Lorne Pynn), Janie (Richard) Slowe and a large circle of former students, colleagues, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian burial and inurnment on Bell Island at a later date to be announced.
