GOODWIN, ROSEMARY - The death of Rosemary Elaine Goodwin, 56, of Amherst and formerly of Port Elgin, occurred suddenly at her home on Wednesday, July 3, 2013. Born in Moncton, Rose was a daughter of the late Leroy and Beulah (Carpenter) Beaumont. Rose will be sadly missed by two daughters, Tracy (Stephen) Lushman, Amherst and Julie (Josh) Allaby, Port Elgin; one son, Anthony (Anne Villeneuve) Goodwin, Amherst; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Rodney, Russell and Dean (Barb); three sisters, Bonnie (David) Hanson, Brenda (Milburn) Rossiter and Ruth (Ron) Martens; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Owen Goodwin, in 2001.
Arrangements for Rose are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from their Port Elgin location from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2013. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 7. William Drysdale DLM officiating.
