Peacefully at the Atlantic Baptist Home on Thursday, July 4, 2013, of Mrs. M. Noreen O'Brien (nee Smith) formerly of St. Avard's, age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late J. Richard O'Brien and dear mother of Richard (Gloria) O'Brien of Bedford, N.S., David (Margaret) O'Brien of Summerside, and Erin (Wade) MacCallum of Saskatchewan. She is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren Adam O'Brien and Sarah (Matt Margenson) O'Brien; Eric (Emily), Mark (Jessica) and Keith O'Brien; Bria, Kaci, Tesa and Edward MacCallum; two great-grandchildren Lauren and Megan; best friends Ron and Jeanne Brewster. She was predeceased by her parents Earle and Margaret "Peggy" (nee Lund) Smith and her brother Ross Smith. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday morning then transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
