The death occurred unexpectedly at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Saturday, July 6, 2013, of Wayne Bruce MacCormack, in his 61st year. Beloved husband of Marietta MacCormack (nee van Vliet). Loving father of Jean (Dave) Fortune and stepfather to Andrea (Gary), Valerie (Ian), Chris (Coralee), and Daniel (Ashley). Stepson of Elsie MacCormack and stepbrother to Cheryl (Kevin), Tom (Roberta) and Troy (Hilary). Son-in-law to Arnold van Vliet. Also survived by numerous brothers and sisters- in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his father John (Jack) MacCormack and first wife Carol (nee Sherry). Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No visitation by personal request. A public memorial service will be held in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday July at 1:30 p.m. If so desired contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Prince County Hospital Foundation.
