We regret to announce the sudden death of James Gerard Morrison, on
Sunday July 7, 2013.
Born in Sydney Mines, he was a son of Margaret Eileen (Forrest) and the late James Patrick Morrison.
Gerard will be missed by those he loved, especially his mother, whom he
cherished.
Surviving are his mother, Eileen; daughter, Jennifer Morrison and son,
Shawn (Wendy) Morrison and their children, Grace and Lucas; as well as
nieces, Nicole and Natasha Morrison; nephews, Marcel Morrison and Matthew
McCormick and many great nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by brother, Shane Morrison.
Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday July 11 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish (formerly St. Pius X Church), Sydney Mines ,with Fr. Thomas John officiating. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Sydney Mines, with reception to follow at Holy Family Parish Hall.
Family flowers only please. Donations in Gerard’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
