
RONALD HAZEN FARRER
1941 - 2013
The death of Ronald Hazen Farrer, of Aulac, NB, occurred suddenly on Friday, July 5, 2013, the day after his 72nd birthday in the Moncton Hospital. Ron was a son of the late Hazen and Grace (Black) Farrer of Dorchester.
Ron had been a Stationary Engineer for Nova Scotia Power for over 20 years. He had a love for fast cars, including Corvettes and Porsches. His attention to detail always made sure that a job completed, was done well. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. A devoted family man who cared for his mother after his father's passing and throughout the remainder of her life. Ron was very proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Ron will be sadly missed by his wife of 50 years, Muriel (nee Spicer), of Aulac; one son, Jeffrey (Carla Chapman) Farrer, of Sackville, and a daughter Rhonda (Chris) Moore, of Sackville; five grandchildren, Kristen, Katlyn, Matthew, Nicholas, and Summer; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Douglas of Vineland, ON; as well as one nephew, Christopher.
Ron was predeceased by his parents, as well as his close Uncle George Black and his Aunt Aleta Colpitts.
Honoring Ron's wishes, there is to be no visitation or funeral service. Care for Ron's remains and wishes are under the supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300). The family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date to be announced.
