Passed away peacefully with his “darlin’ ” daughter Doris Lipscombe (Derek) of Riverview, N.B. by his side, following a brief stay at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario on July 12, 2013 at the age of 72. Proud Grandfather to his 4 “Rees’ Pieces” Aislyn, Morgan, Cadence & Cori and will be fondly remembered by their Mother Amy Reidy. Predeceased by his cherished children Brandy Lee Rees and Pte. Jason Cyril Rees of Hamilton, Ont., and parents Malcolm and Grace Rees of Bell Island, NFLD. Cyril will be sadly missed by Doris’ mother Jessie Rees (Erskine) and Brandy Lee and Jason’s mother Diana Rousseau (Jack), numerous brothers, sisters, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends, many of whom are no longer with us. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at M.A. CLARK & SON’S FUNERAL HOME, (567 Upper Wellington St., Hamilton) on Tuesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Juravinski Centre would be greatly appreciated.
