SCHMIDT, JOANNE AULEY (nee CROSSMAN) - Joanne Schmidt passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Mary's General Hospital, Sunday, July 14, 2013 at age 77. She was the beloved wife of Clare for 55 years; cherished mother of Wendy Kloiber and Dana Schmidt (Laurie); adored grandmother of Lindsay, Tracy, Patricia and Ella. She will also be missed by Bob Kloiber, Erma Crossman, Len LeBlanc; and many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Everett and Mae Crossman; her sisters, Brenda LeBlanc and Mary MacDonald; and her brothers, Jim and Billy Crossman. Joanne loved to travel, especially home to New Brunswick; collecting antiques, rarities and casino winnings; making her home and garden beautiful; and spending time with her family and friends.
Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Joanne's life which will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, ON on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 10:00 am. They are also invited to stay for the reception or to visit at the funeral home to share memories from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm. A private family interment will be held at Williamsburg Cemetery following the reception.
