MURIEL ARBUCKLE DAY

Muriel Arbuckle Day; God called Muriel peacefully home on Sunday evening at the age of 92 surrounded by her family at the Rockwood Terrace Retirement Home in Durham, Ontario.
Mom will be sadly missed by her husband Allan Day of Durham and by her daughter; Iris Gail Stevens of Winnipeg, Manitoba and her sons ; Roy of Calgary, Alberta, Kirk ( Edwena) of Prince Edward Island and Mark (Michele) of Mississauga Ontario. 


Muriel served with the Women's Air Corp. during WWII. 

Muriel will be lovingly remembered by her sister Gen Mills of Mississauga and forever in the hearts of her Grandchildren; Keven, Sherry, Tammy, Joe, Luke. Kate (Bryan) Aaron and Isaac. Great-grandchildren; Chantal, Cory, Felicia, Shyla, Gregory, Bishop, Sonia, Desiree, Cheyanne , Blake & Emma. Great-great grandchildren; Leah & Lilian along with numerous nieces and nephews. 


Muriel was predeceased by her loving parents Sidney and Elizabeth Edwards of River Hebert, Nova Scotia, her brother Sidney (Bud) and her sister Myrtle Boudreau of Joggins and her husband Vernon Arbuckle of Winnipeg Manitoba.



Visitation will be held from the Furlong-Jones funeral Home, River Hebert on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in the Ragged Reef Cemetery. Family flowers only and if you wish a memorial donation can be made in her memory to The Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, or The Leprosy Mission Canada. www.furlongjones.ca
