It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Pearl Combdon, age 51, announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, NL on Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Predeceased by her parents: Gordon & Marjorie Rice; parents-in-law: Lewis & Beatrice Combdon; sister-in-law Margaret Combdon. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Floyd Combdon, Jackson’s Arm, NL; children: Sharmane Combdon, Brampton, ON, Lewis Combdon (Robin), Corner Brook, NL; grandson Dominic Combdon; siblings: Wayne Rice (Evelyn), Selma Rice (Willie), Kay Penney (Donald), Melvin Rice (Angela), Roger Rice (Melody), Bob Rice (Amy), Deanna Smith (Steve), Chloe Rice; siblings-in-law: Scott Combdon (Ada), Rex Combdon (Roxanne), Linda Osmond (Eric), Marina Pittman (Mike), Roxanne Ralph (Neil), Ada Pittman (Kirk); many other nieces and nephews and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will take place from Trinity Pentecostal Church, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Seal Cove, NL.
