Passed gently and serenely away at Dr. Walter Templeman Hospital, Saturday, July 20, 2013 under the care of the best and most caring nursing staff, doctors and hospital support staff. Waiting to help her along her journey, her angel granddaughter, Denise and other Decker and Barrett family members. Leaving to mourn the love of her life, her husband of 65 years, Don; children, Don (Beth), Brenda (Ben), Ray (Jeannie), Rendell (Marcia) and Judy (Norm); grandchildren, Don (Teri), Sean (Jackie), Lori (Craig), Brian (Allison), Andrea (Rick), Keith (Michelle), Chris (Caleigh), Matthew (Amanda), Julie (Eric), Rhonda (Jericko), Mandy and Tammy(Raff ); great-grandchildren, Noah, Liam, Owen, Mckenzie, Sydney, Jaxon, Ezrie, Cameron, Kiana, Kaylee, Peyton, Alyssa, Dawn, Jericko, Desiree, Megan and Madison. Also leaving to mourn a number of extended family and friends. Resting at Pendergasts’ Funeral Home, Bell Island. Visitation to take place on Monday, July 22 from 12-4 and 6-9 and Tuesday, July 23 from 12-4 and 6-9. Christian burial to take place on Wednesday, July 24 at 3pm, Jackson United Church, Bell Island with interment to follow at St. Boniface cemetery.
