PEACH, Alvin Kenneth – 77 of Kingston passed away, Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Windsor, NS he was a son of the late Owen Franklyn and Lillian May (Williams) Peach. Alvin retired after 30 years of service in the RCAF as an air radar technician. He enjoyed volunteering in the community, hockey and golf and was a regular customer at the Greenwood Mall for his morning tea. He is survived by his wife the former Monica Lillian Woods, daughters Barb Peach, Kingston and Donna (Norman) Hutchings, Greenwood. Sons James, Kingston; Dean (Eveline Keyser), Greenwood; Gerald, Kingston; Terry (Michelle Bourque), Kingston; David (Maureen Markey), Greenwood and Dale, Red Deer, AB. Sister Gladys (Lawrence) Hogan, Brockville, ON; brothers Fred (Betty) and Gordon both of Windsor Forks; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister Shirley Hunter. Cremation has taken place and by Alvin’s request, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448.
