Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital July 22, 2013, in his 88th year, Ernest Frederick Chafe Curnew. Leaving to mourn is loving wife of 61 years Yvonne (nee French); devoted daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Gary Benmore with whom he resided; the three lights of his life, his precious granddaughters: Allison (Chris Skinner), Haley and Kristyn; brother-in-law Harold and Elsie French, as well as a circle of family and friends. A very special thank you to Dr. Robert Woodland for his many years of dedication and care. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation as requested, a private service to be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the St. Augustine's Memorial Fund.
