Passed peacefully away at Blue Crest Nursing Home, Grand Bank on July 24th, 2013, Hartley T. Green of Fortune, formerly of Rencounter West, Hermitage Bay, age 89 years. Predeceased by parents George & Edith Green; brother Ernest; sisters Lucy Oxford & Annie Green. Leaving to mourn: Loving Wife Leah & 6 children: Eileen Barnes(John deceased); Lucy Green, Claude Green(wife Marie); Joyce Hanham(Cluney deceased); Shirley Milligan(Bruce); Hartley Green JR.(Lorraine); sister June Short; sister-in law Eileen Meade; 16 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, also a large circle of other relatives & friends. Funeral Service was conducted by Rev. Neal Buffett from All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune at 2pm on Friday, July 26th, 2013. Interment followed at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Fortune. Organist was Susie Lovell. Pall Bearers were: Hartley Green (JR), Kerry Rose, Seward Bearns, Alexander Barnes, Stephen Barnes, Peter Buffett, Johnny Barnes, Claude Green. Donations in his memory may be made to All Saints Anglican Cemetery Fund. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care of Warren's Funeral Home, Grand Bank.
