GALLANT, IRENE - At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, on February 4, 2013, Irene Parks Gallant of Dufferin, NB passed away peacefully. Born in Derby, NB in 1915. She was the widow of James Donald Gallant and daughter of the late William and Martha (Harper) Parks. Irene was known as Grammy Apple to many who knew her. Survived by Donna and Frits Roos of Waterloo, ON; sons, William James Gallant of Dufferin, NB and Richard Dale Gallant of Oak Haven, NB; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, James; sons, Ian and Gerald Wayne Gallant.
The funeral service will be at the Kirk McColl United Church, King Street, St. Stephen, NB on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
