LÉGÈRE, EUCLIDE - Euclide Légère, 69, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Born January 30, 1944 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Arthur and Dorina (Bourque) Légère. He was a lobster fisherman for over 50 years and his second best hobbies were walking and hockey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Albertine (née Robichaud); a daughter, Carole-Anne Légère-Larson of Fredericton; a granddaughter, Abigail Rose; his brothers and sisters: Victorine Landry (Antoine), Bernice Halloran (late Kevin), Verna LeBlanc, Cecile Belliveau (Donat), Linda McKay (Norman), Martine Leger, Leslie (Carmel) and Melvin (late Angela); many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Euclide "Jr."; two brothers: Joseph (Jeannine) and Arthur "Jr."; and a sister, Lorette Bates (Ron).
No visitation by request. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste.-Thérèse d'Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé on Monday, August 5 at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. In memory of Euclide, a contribution to the Brain Tumour Foundation would be appreciated.
