FONTAINE, EMERY - Emery Fontaine, 93, of Foyer Arsenault, Cocagne, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Dr.-Georges-L-Dumont UHC following a lengthy illness. Born May 25, 1920 at McDougall Settlement, NB, he was the son of the late Alphée and Olive (LeBlanc) Fontaine. He was employed at Brandie’s University in Waltham, MA, prior to his retirement and also a veteran of WWII. Emery is survived by his sister, Lorraine Cormier of Dieppe; his special friends, Geraldine Boudreau, Laurie Boudreau, Jeannita Arsenault and Norman ‘Jr’ Boudreau; also many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Régina née Cormier (1956); an infant daughter, Florence; many brothers and sisters.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated Wednesday, August 7th at 2:30 pm.
