Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, August 4th, 2013, at the of age 84. Winnie is predeceased by her beloved husband Charles; infant daughter Marilyn; son Bill; mother Mary Anne Norman (nee. Sparkes); father William Norman; stepmother Bertha; brother Vincent; and sister Louise. Winnifred is lovingly remembered by her son Charles (Bernice); daughter Debbie Clarke (Glenn); sister Anne Moores; step-brothers: Harold and Reg Moores (Rona); grandchildren: Elaine Fagan (Jason), Robyn Lewis, Rene Pike (Marty), Dawn Clarke (Josh), Shannon Clarke and Robert Williams; great grandchildren: Noah and Colin Fagan, Emily Hanham and Jessi Pike: also left to mourn her passing, a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mt. Pearl, on Tuesday, August 6th, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.; and Wednesday, August 7th, from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Memorial service to be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Thursday, August 8th, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
