
James Wilson
WILSON, JAMES - Following a lengthy battle with cancer, the death of James William Wilson, 62, of Aulac, occurred at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Born in Sackville, James was a son of the late James and Phyllis (Weller) Wilson. James had been a carpenter for 25 years with Mount Allison University before his retirement. When he wasn't working he was an avid farmer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and in particular his grandchildren. He was well known for his sense of humor and his love for laughter and life in general. James will be sadly missed by his wife of 36 years, Patricia (nee Kay), of Aulac; one daughter, Trisha (Ernie Richardson) Wilson, Aulac, and one son Tyler, Aulac; two grandchildren, Triston and Kyla Richardson; a grand-dog, Teyla; nine brothers, Andrew (Allison), Perry (Lisa), Tim, Terry, Mike (Helen), Robert (Tracey), Roger (Agatha), Ed (Pat), and Trevor (Terry); five sisters, Pam, Carol, Judy (Kim), Evelyn (Dale), and Nora (Bruce); as well as aunts and uncles and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father in 2000, his brother Barry in 2005, and a sister Christine in infancy.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street, Sackville, from where visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 1 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3 pm. Burial to follow in the Sackville Cemetery. Donations in memory of James may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
